Missing Rabeeka
Rabeeka has become a very close friend to May & I. She will be leaving for National Service tonight & it's extremely heartbreaking, knowing that we won't be sensing her presence for the next 3 months.

I met her on Saturday styling a brand new (accidental) hairdo. But she looks as lovely as ever, doesn't she? Gosh I think I need a haircut too. And a new face & body. Maybe get a life too...

Will be missing you greatly, Rabeeka!! Will be praying for your safety & welfare as you have a blast in Sabah. Hope you'll find direction & purpose too.

How was worship?!
"How was worship today?"
Worship is not meant for us. It's meant for God. Hello?? Wake up!! It doesn't matter what we think of the musicians & singers' performance or skill; what matters is that we worship God in spirit & in truth. If you're talking about the music or the songleader's leading, be more specific. Be careful that you don't limit WORSHIP to music & song.
In spirit & in truth - that means worship is not the singing session of Sunday service, nor is it the slow songs. It's pouring devotion unto God, in all areas of our lives - work, serving, giving, playing, etc.

Quick Update on TOUCH
Sisters' Day has come & gone. Thanks to all the people who helped out in the kitchen, preparation & serving of food & the performances... Josephine documented the whole event on her blog. For videos, you'll have to wait... But you sure can look forward to our next big event:
There are about 40 guys in FCC, but we only have an average of 15 per youth service. Hopefully all of them can come & be a part of our first ever Brothers' Day!!
Perhaps this video will encourage you to come...

Justice, Mercy, Faith
My mind has been stuck onto this verse in Matthew 23:23 for a long time now... JUSTICE, Mercy, FAITH - Jesus calls them the weightier matters of the law. & a month later I'm beginning to make sense of it all... Here are my thoughts...
Now, justice & mercy. Justice is giving what one deserves, while mercy gives what one doesn't deserve. Perhaps the only way to practise both elements is to do it unto others. Fight for the weak & the ones without voice, champion their cause & stand for their rights; give mercy to those who hurt you, & forgive those who have done you wrong. Faith, is knowing & believing that as we follow God's way of justice & mercy - by forgoing our own - He'll carry us through with His endless supply of love & compassion towards us. Selah...
My desire is to be able to practise justice, mercy, & faith all throughout my life & still have JOY everyday... I pray that God will teach & guide me each step of the way.
I shared this verse with the youth (where I emphasized on Faith) & dear Phoebe was jotting down notes...
